Brainchild of Mrs Aashmeen Munjaal, Star Salon & Academy begun operations in the year 1997 in a one room salon at her residence. Like the majority of middle range income earners, she did not have huge financial backing to commence her career as a Makeup & Hair artist.

Her passion to contribute to her clients by making them look their Most Beautiful Self. In 2011, we expanded our presence to 9 Salons & 7 Academies all across India. In 2019, we went Global with our tie up with Niwe Academy Canada

It is our great honor that we have influenced the lives of over 9739 students and helped them earn over Rs. 650 crores from this industry in the last 11 years. Aashmeen is an active speaker with electronic programs across channels like Star TV, NDTV, DD and ABP News & has had the opportunity to work with Bollywood Personalities, from Shahrukh Khan to Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Jacqueline Fernandez to name a few. She is a regular columnist with newspapers like NBT, HT, Asian Age and esteemed magazines like Women's Era etc.
